Fantastic!
Excellent!
Outstanding speakers!
Very informative!

These are just a few of the comments made by the attendees of the 9th Annual Freedom21 National Conference held in Dallas, July 24 - 26, 2008.

The Conference brought together freedom fighters from across the country, and even Canada, to hear from leading experts on this year's theme: "Connecting the Dots to Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development."

The bar was set very high right from the beginning of the Conference with presentations from the "Mike-a-teers" - Michael Shaw (Freedom Advocates) - Michael Coffman (Sovereignty International) - Michael Chapman (EdWatch). The information gleaned from these presentations set the stage for what was going to happen over the coming days.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the follow-up speakers kept raising the bar with their own presentations.

Larry Pratt (Gun Owners of America) informed us about the issues concerning gun control, and Steve Pratt told about the usurpsion of our Constitution.

Special thanks to Mr. Gene Borders of Center, Texas for his sponsorship of the Reception, and to Jim Worthing for another great evening of song and entertainment.

Friday's session began with a panel discusion from Senator Karen Johnson (AZ) who spoke on her state's efforts to create a SPP, Representative Sam Rohrer (PA) discused fighting the Real ID at the state level, and Senator Randy Brogdon (OK) clearly stated that the TTC will need to make a U-turn at his state's border.

New this year was the addition of breakout sessions that were very well received. Amanda Teegarden (OK-Safe) headed a session that showed how to get involved in the legislative process. Terri Hall (TURF) demonstrated how and what she is doing to stop the TTC, and Larry Pratt (Gun Owners of America) discussed what local action you can do against gun control.

During our luncheon, Phyllis Schlafly (Eagle Forum) explained how the Federal Court System has expanded its power to the point of legislating. The classic example is how the Supreme Court changed the clear language of the Fifth Amendment, which requires that eminent domain be involked to take private property only for public use. A 1954 Supreme Court decision authorized government to take private property for a public benefit. This has led to government power to take private property from any owner, and give or sell it to another private owner.

William Jasper, editor of The New American, showed how the New World Order is being developed. Allen Quist (EdWatch) outlined the "12 Pillars of Freedom" and how important they are to protect. Marc Morano, Communications Director for Senator James Inhofe's Environment and Public Works staff entertained us by exposing Al Gore's global warming lies. David and Linda Stall (CorridorWatch) gave us an update on the latest developments on the Trans-Texas Corridor.

Dr. Jerome Corsi and Connie Fogal were the featured speakers at the Freedom21 Banquet. Dr. Corsi told those attending that his latest book, "Obama Nation" is sure to cause a media stir. He predicted outright that Obama will not win the White House. He did not disclose the contents of his new book, but he is sure that its release will significantly alter Obama's campaign strategy. Connie Fogal, Leader of the Canadian Action Party, expressed her views as a Canadian on the growing developments of the SPP in her country. She enlighted the audience with her true patriotism. She is very proud to be Canadian.

Amanda Teegarden (OK-Safe) started Saturday off explaining how the North American SuperCorridor Coalition (NASCO) is playing a major role in the increasing threat of global surveillance. Steve Hempfling, Director of the Free Enterprise Society spoke on his attempts to show how the IRS is acting completely without justification.

Beverly Eakman explained the advancements in microchiping and how the tracking of human activity is on the increase. Kathleen Marquardt showed how even the animal rights movement is being used against us as a tool in maintaining sustainable development.

Chuck Baldwin, Constitution Party Presidential Candidate, wowed the crowd with what might be called a "back to the Constitution" sermon. He won many friends and voters as he explained the principles of freedom are a gift of the Creator, and declared it is the purpose of government to protect and defend these principles for every citizen.

Dan Byfield (American Land Foundation) gave examples of what can happen when you fight back - and win! He showed how you can arm yourself with information and fight at the local level, and be successful.

And then there was Tom - Tom DeWeese - who, along with Cathie Adams - conducted this conference with expertise. Tom concluded this conference with his usual motivational, inspirational, and heart-felt speech. He clearly tied what the theme and subject of all the other speakers had discussed and Connected the Dots to Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development. His speech is a must for any library.

If you missed this year's Conference,
we look forward to seeing you in

The Freedom21 Alternative
to the U.N.'s Agenda 21 Program
for Sustainable Development

The people who attend our conferences share a common desire to advance the principles of freedom - to all people - for all time. We work through our various organizations, through coalitions, and through cooperative campaigns, such as Freedom21, to better coordinate our efforts to prevail over those people who continue to promote, and advance policies that empower government to ignore the principles of freedom, in pursuit of an unachievable social and environmental utopia.

Freedom cannot be sustained in the presence of "sustainable development." The two concepts are mutually exclusive. Sustainable development can exist only when people are controlled by government; freedom can exist only when government is controlled by the people.

We are sure this conference will provide the knowledge, information, and inspiration for each of us to be more effective in our efforts to advance the principles of freedom in all that we do.
